After recently retiring my husband and I came down to North Carolina to visit plantations for a second home. Ocean ridge offers 2 nights 3 days for 199.00. After checking in was informed that we could not use the private beach club and the pools. So basically we paid just to get a tour, which we cancelled and checking out early today. This should be told to potential homeowners. We stayed at st.James plantation and was treated with the utmost respect and used all the amenities. How can you get a feel of a place if your not allowed to use any of the amenities. Very disappointed but this only reinforced how much we loved St James Plantation.
